Houston-area couple expecting quintuplets
Now the community is rallying around the Texas family to help pay their medical bills and get their home in order

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Danielle and Adam Busby say their 3-year-old daughter Blayke is a gift from God.

The couple struggled with infertility for two years.

"After months of rejection, we finally got her," Adam said as he hugged his daughter.

They knew what was ahead when they tried to have another child.

"I remember telling her, 'look, I don't want to do this a third time, it's just a lot, so let's hope for twins," Adam said.

The Busbys got their twins - Danielle is carrying two identical baby girls - along with three others.

"He about passed out," Danielle said, "I started laughing, and was like, 'Is this really happening?"

During one of several visits to the doctor's office, the Busbys got another surprise from the doctor.

"He panned over to check her ovaries, make sure everything's okay and he saw one more," Adam said, "He just went, 'Whoop!"

At 18 weeks pregnant, Danielle is praying the babies will continue to grow and that she'll make it to at least 28 weeks. She said her doctor warned her about what could go wrong.

"At first they didn't want us to have all five. They wanted us to reduce," Danielle said, "And our hearts just couldn't do that."

The Busbys are doing their best to prepare for what's to come. Blayke is testing out her new 'big sister' role while friends and family are donating car seats and infant clothes.

They say their faith has gotten them this far.

"He will provide," Danielle said, "He will provide."

They're ready to see what happens next.
