HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Make sure you set aside a purple outfit and get ready to party like it's 1999. A local restaurant is paying tribute to legendary musician Prince with a dinner and party.
It's been one year since the late multi-award winning singer and songwriter was found dead in an elevator at his Paisley Park home. His death on April 21, 2016, sent shock waves across the world.

Executive chef and owner of Lucille's Restaurant Chris Williams is a big fan of Prince, and he honored him with a special 7-course dinner on April 19.
"Because Prince loved the number 7 and was a vegan, Chef Chris has put together this 7-Course Pescatarian Wine Dinner (with some vegan options)," the event states.

Williams is partnering with Iris Allen of Urban Wineauxs for the wine pairings. A DJ will also be there to play all Prince songs.

Pan roasted bronzino, miso marinated mushroom, purple asparagus, dandelion pistachio pistou

7th course
The restaurant is also hosting a party today on the outdoor patio with a live cover band, along with a pescatarian and vegan dish buffet. You can find information about the two events on the Lucille's Restaurant Facebook page.
