Parents turn request for Lorde tickets into epic prank

KANSAS CITY, Missouri (KTRK) -- A teen from Missouri wanted only one thing for Christmas - tickets to see her favorite singer, Lorde.

But her parents decided to play a little prank on her and instead helped her get closer to "the Lord."

Jorji Kellogg was given tickets to see Joel Osteen, instead.

Her mom and dad even included a note saying they are "so proud and happy that you want to grow your faith."

Jorji later tweeted that she will be going to see Lorde in concert, after all.
