HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- There's already plenty of appeal to buy a Powerball ticket for Wednesday's drawing, which has become among the biggest in history.
The Powerball jackpot jumped to an estimated $700 million. The winner, if all six lucky numbers hit, will receive the second largest lotto jackpot in history, according to Texas Lottery officials.
Powerball holds the distinction of the largest lotto jackpot when its highest prize reached $1.586 billion in January 2016.
The cash value is an estimated $443.3 million.

The drawing is set for 9:59 p.m. CT Wednesday. Lotto sales cut off in Texas at 9 p.m. the day of the drawing.
