Victim shot by neighbor over loud music in northwest Harris County, HCSO says

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- Harris County Sheriff's Office deputies are investigating a shooting reportedly over loud music in the northwest area overnight.

At about 6:30 a.m., Sheriff Ed Gonzalez shared in a social media post that deputies were called out to an apartment complex off Bammel N. Houston.

Gonzalez said a person had been shot during a confrontation with a neighbor over loud music, but hadn't reported it immediately after the shooting.

Deputies did not say if any arrests have been made.

The victim's condition is unclear.
