Woman killed, 3 injured after argument leads to shooting in Sunnyside, HPD says

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A woman is dead, three people are injured, and police are searching for the shooter, the Houston Police Department said.

Police said the suspect opened fire at about 3 a.m. Saturday on Fairland near Wilmington in Sunnyside.

Investigators said the incident began with an argument between a boyfriend and girlfriend. The boyfriend then opened fire at a home and fled the scene, officers said. According to authorities, he still hasn't been caught.

Officials said the injured victims include two women and a man, who police say is undergoing surgery.
