HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A motorcyclist died in a crash early Saturday, causing a more than 6-hour tollway closure in northwest Harris County, Precinct 4 deputies said.

Pct. 4 says the West Sam Houston Tollway at West Road was closed after the two-vehicle accident was reported at 1 a.m.

Constable deputies said a man riding a motorcycle was declared deceased at the scene. It was unclear what led up to the accident.

Deputies didn't say if anyone else was injured.

The tollway reopened around 7:30 a.m. later that morning.
