All eastbound lanes reopen on Beltway 8 near Gessner Road after motorcycle crash, officials says

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- All eastbound lanes have reopened on Beltway 8 near Gessner Road after a motorcycle crash on Sunday afternoon, according to Houston TranStar.

According to the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office, deputies responded to what they described as a "major accident involving a motorcycle."

Houston TranStar reported the incident shortly before 12 p.m. and said it involved one vehicle. TranStar also reported that all eastbound lanes, including the left shoulder, were shut down.

As of 3 p.m., TranStar reported that the scene was cleared and all eastbound lanes were reopened.
