Overturned big rig shuts down I-610 East Loop northbound lanes at I-10 East Freeway, TranStar shows

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- An overturned big rig has stopped traffic along a portion of the East Freeway on Friday morning.

Houston TranStar reported the incident at about 9:08 a.m., leading to a complete roadway closure on the I-610 East Loop northbound lanes at I-10 East Freeway.

It's unclear what led to the wreck, but crews could be seen responding to clear the scene.
