

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Investigators said Houston police officers shot at an armed suspect accused of shooting at multiple vehicles in the northeast side of town on Friday morning.
According to the Houston Police Department, officers received a call at about 11 a.m. about multiple shots fired in the 6300 block of North Wayside Drive. An eyewitness later told ABC13 that he saw a naked man in the middle of the street with a long gun. Authorities said that HPD officers then responded to the scene.
HPD said that initial information indicates that the armed suspect was firing at multiple vehicles in the area before officers shot at the suspect.
Authorities have not confirmed if anyone was injured in the incident.
Eyewitness News crews are en route to the scene to gather more information.
