Multiple westbound lanes of East Freeway closed at Wayside after truck hits bridge, loses its load

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Multiple westbound lanes of the East Freeway are closed at Wayside Drive after an 18-wheeler struck a bridge and lost its load on Wednesday afternoon.

According to Lt. Terry Garza with the Harris County Sheriff's Office, multiple lanes are shut down with one lane open. First responders are at the scene, according to deputies.
