Teen killed at pool party was wanted for shooting at classmates 2 weeks earlier, court records show

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- According to court records, a teen killed at a northeast Harris County pool party Sunday night was wanted for allegedly shooting at his classmates while riding in a car two weeks earlier.

Isaiah Philip was charged on July 18 with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to court documents.

The driver of that car is also charged in the shooting.

ABC13 has learned that Philip, the alleged shooter in the Kuykendahl Road shooting, was the teenager killed in a shooting at a pool party in northeast Harris County on Sunday.

According to court documents, Calicut tried to run the victims off the road. Phillip, rolled down the passenger window and pointed a gun at them. The victims told police they did a U-turn to get away and heard multiple gunshots. The driver told investigators that Calicut had been threatening him for months at school and via FaceTime.
