Action 13 gets leaking utility pole removed from Richmond man's backyard

RICHMOND, Texas (KTRK) -- A Richmond homeowner who said that CenterPoint Energy installed a large, leaking utility pole in his backyard without his permission has confirmed that crews arrived to resolve the issue after Action 13 got involved.

Ivo Quinonez told Action 13 that an environmental crew went to his home and spent the day cleaning his backyard.

Quinonez said that a CenterPoint employee told him that the company will remove the utility pole.

When Quinonez reached out to Action 13, he said that the utility pole was spraying a dark substance that had spilled onto the siding, furniture and appliances in his backyard.
