
HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- The Houston Police Department said it is searching for at least two people, including a 16-year-old, who are charged with murder in connection with a shooting involving another teenager in May.
The shooting happened just before 4 p.m. at a convenience store in north Houston on Northborough Drive. Officers were called about the incident that took place in the gas station parking lot.
When they arrived, officers said they found the victim, identified as 16-year-old Davion Elzy, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Paramedics rushed him to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead, HPD said.
HPD did not elaborate on what led up to the shooting, but identified two persons of interest: 19-year-old Cameron Ray and a 16-year-old boy.
It remains unclear on the connection between the two suspects and the victim.
HPD said both Ray and the teen are at large.
