The Harris County Fire Marshal's Office said the woman is also being treated for smoke inhalation.

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- Officials said a woman is in the hospital after she was injured in an apartment fire in northwest Harris County.
The Cy-Fair Fire Department said crews responded to the blaze at the Breckenridge Court Apartments on Kieth Harrow Boulevard at 10:45 a.m. on Thursday.
"We actually had a crew nearby clearing up a scene, and they saw the smoke and let everybody know we had a working fire," Cy-Fair Fire Department deputy chief Zach Maher said. "They showed up here. We had fire showing from the first and second floor in one of the units in the middle of the building. We were able to get in and contain it to that one single unit."
According to Maher, a woman was returning to her apartment when she opened the door and encountered the fire.
The Harris County Fire Marshal's Office reported that she was then sent to the hospital for smoke inhalation and burn injuries.
"If you come home and see the smoke, obviously, shut the door back because you want to keep that door closed and keep the oxygen from getting in there," Maher explained. "Close the door right away and call 911."
Maher said the fire marshal's office told him the fire was sparked by an electrical issue, but they aren't sure exactly what triggered the problem.
The agency added that 16 units were impacted in the fire, including two of them with fire damage and others with smoke and water damage.
HCFMO said Red Cross has also been notified.
