Deadly crash forces closure of Cypress Creek Parkway in north Harris County, sheriff's office says

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A major crash involving a motorcycle and a car on Cypress Creek Parkway killed a person and forced an hourslong closure, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said that the wreck happened shortly after 10 a.m. on Thursday in the 3200 block of FM 1960.

HCSO said the car overturned in the crash and that the roadway was blocked while an investigation was underway.

Investigators confirmed the crash was deadly, but did not say whether the driver of the car or the motorcyclist was killed. They also did not say whether there were any additional injuries.
