HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A 24-year-old has been charged with murder in connection with the shooting death of a taco truck operator, according to the Houston Police Department.

The video above is from a previous report.

The shooting happened on Dec. 4 at 119 West Dyna Drive just before 11 p.m., HPD said at the time.

"(The victim) was found by his family members that arrived on scene, as they were worried because they had not heard from him since he said he was going to be closing up," HPD Lt. Kahn said at the scene.

Police said two men walked up to the business, one man shot into the business while the second one took money from the business.

On Wednesday, nearly a week after the deadly shooting, HPD said an investigation identified Angel Adonis Saldivar-James as the suspect who fired the shot that killed 36-year-old Yaddua Barraza Hernandez.

Saldivar-James was arrested on Monday and is currently in the Harris County Jail, according to authorities.
