HOUSTON, Texas -- A deputy shot in the line of duty is back home just in time for Thanksgiving.

Deputy Justin Gay was shot seven times earlier this month, responding to a domestic disturbance in northwest Harris County.

He's now out of rehab and recovering at home with his wife and two kids. His fellow deputies brought him a full thanksgiving meal to enjoy today.
