

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- All northbound lanes on the Gulf Freeway at the South Loop have reopened after a hazmat spill, according to Houston TranStar.
Houston TranStar reported that the incident involved one vehicle at about 1:20 p.m. TranStar also reported that the three left northbound lanes were shut down due to the spill.
TxDOT also reported that its crews responded to the scene, adding that the cleanup was expected to take multiple hours.
As of 4:50 p.m., TranStar reported that the scene was cleared and that all northbound lanes were back open.
