HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A car carrier trailer fire has cleared after slowing down drivers along the Eastex Freeway on Friday morning.
Houston TranStar reported the vehicle fire just before 6 a.m.
SkyEye13 was above as crews worked to clear the incident, which was blocking two lanes of I-69 southbound near Lee Road for hours. According to TranStar, lanes were reopened at about 11:39 a.m.
In the video, the truck cab and a pickup truck that were above it appeared to be heavily burned as well as several other vehicles right behind the cab.
It's unclear what may have led the truck to ignite or whether any injuries were reported.
