Woman last seen 6 days ago is 'vulnerable to any predator,' Texas EquuSearch says

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- It has been six days since Martina Lopez, a 20-year-old with medical and intellectual issues, went missing.

On Tuesday, Texas EquuSearch said it has ramped up the search for Lopez due to her "serious medical issues."

"She is not intellectually able to know she is in danger. Martina is very naive and childlike, which makes her vulnerable to any predator," said Frank Black with Texas EquuSearch, who also pointed out her physical and mental well-being depends on how quickly she is located.

According to Houston police, Lopez was last seen this past Friday in the 6800 block of Roswell Street on the city's north side.

Her family stated she has been diagnosed with autism, bipolar disorder and epilepsy.

Lopez was last seen wearing pink Barbie biker shorts, a gray long-sleeved thermal pajama shirt with candy canes, pink flowery shoes, a pale pink and blue tie dyed hoody and rose pink backpack purse, according to Texas EqquSearch. She was also wearing a navy blue face mask with white flowers.
