Boy invites neighborhood to piano concert, gets more than he expected

MINNEAPOLIS, MN (KTRK) -- A little boy in Minneapolis got much more than he expected when he planned a piano concert in his front yard.

Crowds gathered to hear the mini Mozart even in rainy conditions.

A neighbor saw that 8-year-old Dylan Spoering posted a sign in his front yard inviting the neighborhood to come to his front porch piano concert.

The neighbor snapped a picture of it, posted it on Facebook, and it went viral, prompting dozens more concert attendees to show up than Dylan expected.

Dylan said, "I just wanted to play for people, I just wanted to play for free and now I'm famous."

The Facebook post drew hundreds of comments. One concert attendee saying it was the highlight of her weekend. Others asked for Dylan to do it again soon.
