Therapy dogs bring holiday cheer to Cypress hospital patients
A new pet therapy program is bringing joy to hospital patients in Cypress.

CYPRESS, Texas (KTRK) -- The prescription for what ails you might just be some time with an adorable dog.

An infectious case of smiles and laughter filled the halls of Memorial Hermann Cypress on Monday as the hospital launched a brand new therapy dog program.

The pet therapy project brings dogs from the non-profit Tender Loving K9s to visit the hospitals' patients.

Visiting dogs were given a holiday stocking full of pet treats, and hospital officials said the patients were left with smiling faces.
