Brothers catch 12-foot-long, 750 pound gator

FLORIDA (KTRK) -- Two men made what they called the catch of a lifetime.

The two brothers went fishing for gators on Saturday, hoping to hook gators that were five or six feet long.

Instead, it was a 12-foot, 750 pound gator that took their bait.

It took the brothers nearly half an hour to pull the gator to their boat.

Now they plan to harvest the meat and hide from the giant beast.
