Man shot in road rage incident in Pearland

PEARLAND, TX (KTRK) -- A 20-year-old man was injured overnight when another driver pulled a gun and opened fire on his vehicle in a suspected road rage incident.

Houston police said the man was driving down Highway 288 near Almeda Genoa Rd., when the driver of a black truck fired several shots at the man's vehicle.

The victim took the McHard Rd., exit and stopped at the Buc-ee's gas station for help. The victim was struck in the arm but is expected to recover.

Police said the motive for the shooting is unclear. The incident is under investigation.
