CHESTER COUNTY, TN (KTRK) -- The body of a two-year-old Tennessee boy has been found.
With voice cracking, Chester County Sheriff Blair Weaver announced the discovery of Noah Chamberlin's body on Thursday.
"We have found Noah Chamberlin. He was located about one half mile from his home where he went missing from," Weaver said, choking back tears. "Family's been notified."
Chamberlin was walking in the woods with his sister and grandmother last week when they became separated.
Hundreds of law enforcement officers helped search for the boy.
The boy's body was located in a clearing in the woods where a party was doing a grid search.
Sheriff Weaver took to social media after the discovery:
The family's pastor says the family began to pray after hearing news the body had been found.
Authorities say his death appears to be a tragic accident. An autopsy is set to be conducted to determine the cause of death.
