TEMPLE, TX (KTRK) -- A Waco area meteorologist shot at a TV station is speaking out about the attack. Patrick Crawford spoke from Baylor Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple Monday afternoon.

Crawford was shot last Wednesday morning, as he left KCEN TV in Bruceville-Eddy. He was hit twice -- struck in the abdomen and in the arm. Crawford says the gunman didn't say anything, he just started shooting.

"The man who shot me didn't say any words, no interaction whatsoever," Crawford said. "He just started shooting. I did not know him. Hopefully the description will help bring this person to justice for what he did."

There is a sketch of the gunman. The reward to catch him is up to $10,000. Over the weekend, investigators said they had no good leads and still no motive.

As for Crawford, his doctor says they expect him to make a full recovery and hope to get him home in time for Christmas.
