Thieves smash into southeast Houston store, fail to get inside
HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Two suspects rammed a stolen pick-up truck into the Sun Mart in Southeast Houston early Monday morning.
It happened just after 2:30am at the store in the 6300 block of Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. at Beekman Road.
Security video shows the truck slamming into the front of the store then getting stuck in the metal barricade stretched across the glass. Two male suspects get out of the truck, but they were not able to get inside the store.

Video then shows the two suspects run around the corner of the building and escape before police arrive.
Police recovered the stolen truck used in the attempted robbery.
