SOUTH PADRE ISLAND, Texas (KTRK) -- A 20-year-old woman from Sugar Land could appear before a judge Saturday after a hit-and-run involving five victims.
Investigators say the woman was driving in the bike lane in South Padre around 1 a.m. on Friday when she hit five people. She had a passenger in the car with her. Officers say the woman drove off after the accident.
Two of the people went to the hospital in critical condition, one in serious and two had minor injuries. The victims range in ages from 16 to 22-years-old.
Officers have not released the names of the women arrested.
