Shooting at Cinco Ranch area HEB

CINCO RANCH, TX (KTRK) -- The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting in the parking lot of the Cinco Ranch area HEB.

Deputies say the suspect and victim met in the parking lot of the grocery store located off S. Fry Road and Highway 99 for an unknown reason. During their meeting, the suspect shot the victim once in the abdomen.

The victim was taken to a local hospital. His injuries are non-life-threatening.

Deputies say the shooter drove away in a van of unknown color.
