Police arrest two men after carjacking, wheel thefts

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A theft, a carjacking, a crash and then two arrests. Police say they caught a pair of men behind a crime spree in southwest Houston.

Police say around 1am, they were called to Lolido at Westheimer where two men were seen stealing wheels off cars. When police arrived, the two men took off.

Minutes later, police say the same two men carjacked a couple as left the Tea House on Dunvale. Officers quickly arrived and began chasing the suspects.

The two then crashed their vehicle at Hillcroft and Westheimer, causing the vehicle to roll over. Both men were then taken into custody.
