Man dies in east Houston after falling off moving vehicle's hood

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man is dead after he fell off the hood of a vehicle in east Houston early Saturday morning.

Authorities tell us the man was killed around 2:30am at the intersection of Kathryn and Federal.

The victim apparently fell off when the driver tried to stop the moving vehicle.

It is unknown exactly why he was on the hood in the first place.

A grand jury will decide whether or not any charges will be filed in the case.
