Man allegedly wields hammer in fight after festival

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Police led several people away in handcuffs after a fight outside the Freedom Over Texas Festival.

Witnesses say it started when a Jeep hit another car on packed streets.

The Jeep tried to pull away from the accident on Dallas and Lamb. Pedestrians say the Jeep hit them.

Witnesses say the Jeep also hit a truck and that started a fight.

The passenger in the truck pulled out a hammer. Witnesses told us he was trying to defend himself.

Police detained several people.
