Husband and wife dead in apparent murder-suicide in Pearland

PEARLAND, TX (KTRK) -- Pearland police are investigating an apparent murder-suicide that left a husband and wife dead.

Police say they received a call of a shooting at a home in the 1100 block of Brookhaven Court at at around 6:30am Friday. When they got there, they found husband and wife Tansey Escobar, 31, and Oscar Escobar, 32, dead inside.

Another adult and a child were also in the home at the time of the shooting. The juvenile was released to family members.

At this point, it's not clear who did the shooting. The investigation is ongoing.
