Harris County authorities and a woman's family are asking for new information in a 2013 murder case

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Harris County Sheriff's investigators are asking for the public's help in the investigation into the 2013 murder of a woman found dead in a burning car.

Twenty-eight-year-old Dora Lee Hughes' body was found inside a burning blue Ford Explorer on July 26, 2013, just before 11:30am in the 18500 block of the North Freeway.

Crime Stoppers will offer up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging or arrest of the suspect(s) responsible. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Harris County Sheriff's Office Homicide Unit at (713) 967-5810 or Crime Stoppers at (713) 222-TIPS (8477).
