Hail of gunfire in SW Houston ends with man dead; killer on the loose

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- In southwest Houston, police are working to identify a man shot killed this morning, while they search for his killer.

The man's body was found around midnight in the driveway of the Treehouse Apartment Complex in the 8900 block of Bissonnet, near Old Richmond Road.

Witnesses tell investigators a dark-colored car pulled up, the gunman got out, and fired several shots at the victim. The gunman then fired more shots as he drove away.

Police are now trying to find out who that suspect is, the victim died at the scene.
