Crew discovers 8 large bags of marijuana along California highway

ANTIOCH, CA -- A crew made a discovery of eight large bags of marijuana plants along a stretch of road on Thursday.

The workers took the pot back to their maintenance yard and contacted Contra Costa CHP.

The officers tweeted out photos before they took charge of the marijuana.

They will process it and eventually dispose of it.
