CONROE, TX (KTRK) -- Three men were arrested in Conroe last week, charged with money laundering. One of the suspects was also charged with felony possession of marijuana.

On Wednesday at around 1:15pm, Montgomery County Sheriff's Office deputies stopped a vehicle in the 17000 block of Acapulco Road. During the stop, investigators say they found around $30,000 in the vehicle.

Following an investigation, two men - Adolfo Reyna, 36, and Roger Wayne Caldwell, 50 -- were arrested and charged with felony money laundering.

The investigation led deputies to a home in the 10700 block of River Oaks Road in Conroe, where they say they found another $30,000 in cash and 100 pounds of marijuana. The homeowner, Juan Maldonado, 33, was arrested and charged with felony money laundering and a second felony possession of marijuana.
