Boy, 7, nearly drowns in Ft. Bend County

FULSHEAR, TX (KTRK) -- A young boy is recovering after nearly drowning in detention pond Tuesday.

The Ft. Bend County Sheriff's Office says the seven-year-old wandered off and ended up in the pond in the Weston Lakes subdivision near Fulshear.

Eyewitnesses found the boy who was airlifted to the hospital with a weak pulse. His condition at this time is unknown.
