HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A group of motorcyclists brought traffic to a standstill this weekend.

The bikers were doing wheelies and tricks on the on the south loop near Braeswood, witnesses said.

Cellphone video caught the whole incident, showing people getting out of their vehicles to see what was causing traffic to stop.

One eyewitness said she didn't want to appear on camera, but said she saw dozens of bikers in the middle of the freeway. She called 911, fearing what might happen.

"Someone could've been hurt, someone not looking up and rear-ending because traffic was coming to a quick stop," she said.

"When I started seeing people getting out, I was concerned there going to be an altercation."
