Bergdahl released from Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, TX (KTRK) -- Former prisoner of war, Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl was released from Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio.

The Army says the soldier will now be treated as an outpatient and will undergo continued reintegration and medical care.

Bergdahl is slowly being exposed to more people and more social situations.

The Army says it won't reveal exactly where Bergdahl is now to protect the reintegration process.
