Attack outside New Mexico police station caught on video

ROSWELL, NM (KTRK) -- A man in New Mexico picked a bad place to start a fight -- right in front of a police station's surveillance camera.

Police say Sergio Vasquez followed his ex-girlfriend's red pickup to the station. He pulled her new boyfriend out of the passenger's seat and started punching him.

The woman ran inside to report Vasquez was chasing her with a gun. Officers quickly came out and arrested him.

They say he fired a BB gun at his girlfriend's pickup before arriving at the station.
