HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The owner of a townhouse devastated by fire overnight says a family member may be to blame.
Firefighters were called to the scene off Wilcrest and Herald Square around 11:30pm.
The homeowner, Michael Costello, tells us he was in the shower when he smelled smoke and came to find a fire in front of the house.
Costello has no question who started it. "It was my father's nephews," he said. "They came here and they did something. I don't know what they did, but they caught the house pretty good on fire."
Two units were damaged in the fire. The cause is still under investigation.
