Reward of $10K offered in SW Houston grocery store fire

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- If you know who set a fire inside a southwest Houston grocery store last month, you could be eligible for a big reward.

Fire broke out in the paper goods aisle at the H-E-B in the 10100 block of Beechnut back on February 25 at around 7:15pm. Investigators say the fire was intentionally set.

Fortunately, there were no injuries, but there was extensive damage to the store.

At this point, there are no suspect descriptions.

Crime Stoppers urges anyone with information about the suspect or suspects in this case to call 713-222-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward of up to $10,000.
