CHICAGO, IL -- A horrific murder was caught on tape as the 28-year-old victim was broadcasting himself on Facebook Live.
Tony Perkins was hanging out with family and friends in Chicago on Wednesday night when someone opened fire.

Perkins fell to the ground after two shots. A total of 10 shots can be heard ringing out as his smartphone records his death.
His friends and family rushed to his aide.
"Tony, Tony, you're okay," they offer, but it was already too late.

Chicago police say the shooting was gang related, but Perkins' father says his son was "a good person" who was caught up in trouble only in his past. He was now more interested in working and taking care of his kids, he says.
The victim had just received a promotion at McDonald's.

Sadly, his family lost Perkins' brother a few years ago in a shooting.
The shooter is not in custody, police say, but investigators are looking at the video in hopes of finding the man's killer or killers.
