Celebrate Houston's history at Mellow Mushroom in the Heights

Another salute to the Bayou City's roots is the life-size metal iron trolley with functioning headlights that customers can dine in.

To learn more about the interior of the restaurant, visitors can participate in an online art tour that features a description of each masterpiece and connects guests with the artists' online portfolio.

The very first Atlanta-based Mellow Mushroom opened more than forty years ago and today there are now over 160 locations across America.

Each location brings a community of artists together to create a space reflecting the neighborhood it was built in.
