Four arrested in separate drug busts in Ft. Bend County

STAFFORD, TX (KTRK) -- Investigators in Ft. Bend County say they've busted two separate marijuana grow houses in the Houston and Stafford areas.

The suspected growing operations were located in the 400 block of Corridor Way, which is in Stafford, and the other in the 12000 block of Club Lane in Houston. They've both been the targets of investigations over the past month.

On Tuesday, March 3, a warrant was executed at the Houston location, where a large suspected grow house operation was found. Agents seized a total of 148 marijuana plants as well as equipment for growing and selling marijuana.

Anh Ngo, 20, Anh Nguyen, 26 and Tan Huynh, 23, were arrested and booked into the Fort Bend County Jail on first degree felony charges of possession of marijuana. Each had bail amounts of $25,000 and they posted bail the next day, March 4.

Then on Wednesday, March 11, a warrant was executed at the home Stafford home. Agents say they found a sophisticated grow operation in four rooms of the home. Agents found 282 marijuana plants and equipment for manufacturing, packaging and selling marijuana.

Thi Ngo, 33 was arrested and booked into the Fort Bend County Jail on first degree felony charges of possession of marijuana. He was given a bail amount of $20,000, and bailed out of jail on March 12.
