GALVESTON, TX (KTRK) -- With 23 stunning floats and 19 high-stepping marching bands, revelers had an incredible time at the 31st annual Knights of Momus Grand Night Parade in Galveston. (If you're viewing on news app, tap image above to see photos)

Mardi Gras Galveston brought out an incredible crowd of party-goers donning face paint, elaborate costumes and all those rich and beautiful beads.

This year's parade theme was "Superheroes Unleashed," and featured a phenomenal crowd of parade participants in a variety of superhero costumes.

Galveston's favorite Quaker City String Band, the Philadelphia Mummers, a neon party bus, the Rainforest Cafe trolley, and a 25-foot-long fire engine also accompanied the floats along the parade route.
