GREENWICH, CT -- Metro North workers investigating a loss of power found a man on fire on top of a train early Sunday morning.
The train bound for New York City lost power at the Riverside Station in Greenwich, Connecticut shortly after 5 a.m.
Workers went up to check the overhead lines and discovered the man, 21-year old Brian McClellan of Ohio. They put out the fire, and he was transported to Westchester Medical Center still alive.
His condition is not yet known.
Metro North police are investigating how McClellan got on top of the train and why.
The trains are powered by overhead electrical wires.
The train was carrying about 20 passengers. They had to get off and take another train into New York.
