Man fatally shot in the head at SW Houston home

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A man is dead after he was shot in the head at a home in southwest Houston.

Houston police said the man was shot around 5:29 p.m. Saturday in the 5700 block of West Airport near Landsdowne Drive.

One person has been detained at the scene.

We do not know what led to the shooting and homicide detectives are investigating.
